Is your team familiar with the most recent updates to CDT? Join Dr. Jim Nickman, AAPD Dental Benefits & Coding Consultant, to review the changes that went into effect in the CDT 2024 code set. This will be followed by a brief update on state-level successes in implementing G0330, the billing code that can help improve access to ORs and ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) for dental cases. 

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of the course, participants will:

1. List changes to the CDT code set that went into effect in 2024, including additions and revisions
2. Describe the process for recommending revisions, deletions, or additions to the CDT code set for future years
3. Discuss various mechanisms of implementing G0330 or similar coding and payment changes to improve access to care in hospital and surgical center settings.
