Recorded On: 05/26/2023

Speaker:  Gerald Rosen, DDS
Successful management of patients in your office begins when the phone rings. Understanding parent's expectations and anxieties, as well as children’s body language, and how to communicate with a crying child are the keys to treating young children. Methods will be discussed, Including those behavior management techniques you have already learned, but have not used successfully. By the end of the session, you will have become more adept at using these skills and gain confidence in treating young children. You will rely less on sedation by understanding how the child's mind works and using that knowledge to change behavior. You will learn how to deal with hysterical children and respond to avoidance techniques commonly used by young children.
